Heckler

On the advice of a friend, we took Syd to her first movie yesterday. We were told that she would just sleep right through it. Well, she didn't. She never cried and the noise didn't bother her, but she talked through the entire thing. Apparently she doesn't appreciate Ben Stiller's brand of humor. She was quiet enough that no one else noticed, but she just babbled for two hours.

The home health care nurse came yesterday and Syd is now up to 5 lbs and 4.5 ounces. Over 6 pounds is kind of our measuring stick for no longer being "tiny". She will move from preemie diapers and clothes to newborn. Besides just gaining weight, her body is changing as well. Her chest cavity is starting to catch up with her bulging little belly and she is getting chipmunk cheeks. See for yourself in the following random cuteness pictures.
