Homecoming

Well, it would seem that our little Syd has done everything that doctor's have asked of her and will be coming home soon. Soon, like maybe tomorrow. I know that we should be thrilled but honestly we are scared out of our wits. I imagine a lot of sleepless nights just watching her breathe.

For those of you scoring at home, Syd is up to 4 lbs and 7 ounces and just keeps eating.

You will be fine. Every parent since babies were invented were terrified at the thought of having to take care of them on their own. You guys will do great...you already are! Love, DiDi

You won't mind the sleepless nights
too much---especially since it means bringing her home. You will
both do just fine. All you really
need to do is just love her and spoil her. Love,
Susie and Jim

We are thrilled that she is coming home. Now you can be her sole care giver, don't worry. She will let you know whwn she needs attention.

Welcome home, Syd!!! She's such a super star! I am so impressed...clearly the result of good genetics =). Being nervous is totally expected, but it will all fall into place. Listen to your instinct and follow your heart. You'll get tons of advice (some you asked for, most you didn't), but you already know what to do. You are both amazing people, and you are the best mom and dad that Sydney could ever have. You love her more than anything in the world, and she loves you right back. Congratulations Bowens!!!! All my love, Angela
